Argus sub sea camera system
Argus camera is a special design made to see through the barrier of particles in turbid water. This is an active camera using tricks with laser illumination to see through the particles in the water often creating a white wall. It do also use a image intensified low light level camera.

Argus camera can see beyond what normal cameras with standard illumination can do. It can also operate in total darkness as it has its own illumination.

Illumination are based on Green laser systems and new solid state high power LED emitters.

Argus is adjustable from surface in many ways. camera zoom and optics can be adjusted. Laser illumination can be set for best penetration in bad water qualities. Optics admitts a 3D measurement of viewed objects.

Argus can do 2-3 times the normal range compared to a normal camera with its own halogen lamp illumination system. Max operating depth is 300 meter.
