Laser photocells for heavy industrial applications
Laseroptronix offers the new LPH series of advanced laser photocells for heavy indstrial applications. These are based on pulsed high speed distance meters and a range gating electronics to set at what distance the system shall turn on and off.

Characteristics of laser photo cells / laser switches

  • High speed 1-2 milisec responce time
  • Diffuse reflex characteristics on hot and cold materials at long range of up tp 100 meter and more.
  • High accuracy swicth point of a 1 cm or less at 10 meter distance and +- 2 cm at 50 meter distance
  • Rugged industrial design with IP 65/67 encapsulation.
  • Eye safe class 1 laser sensor harmless for the eye.
  • Output 0-10 Volt output or 4-20 mA
  • All sensors have an RS 232b output for function control and settings
  • Preset operating distance area so sensors can sense close to beam stop with no false alarms

Laserphotocells can solve many problems normal photocells have problems to handle. The long stand off makes it possible to install the sensor at long distance where environment often is far better.
