| Sniper detector Mirage is an active system designed to detect the retro refllex caused by all optical elements in a sight or binocular. All optical assemblies gives back scattered reflexes. This is often called the cat eye reflex.
Mirage have a high sensitivity detector and advanced filters to se this retro reflex. The pulsed light admits a time of flight calculation of distance to what cause the refllex. Mirage operates at day and night at ranges up to 1200 meter. Mirage have an external video output for external screens and monitors. Operator see the retro reflex as a flashing light spot out in the terrain. The system is very efficient and easy to handle.
