Airscan 400 is a new idea in laser radar technology. The laser radar is designed to fit into a standard 400 mm diameter hole in the fuselage usd by many aerial photography aircrafts. here we have a simple to install kit that can be used in many aircrafts that what to get into the area of 3D airborne laser scanning.
Features of Airscan 400 Ladar system
  • Fit into any standard 400 mm diameter camera mount that is close to standard. This is often called Zeiss mount
  • Low weight of 10 kg
  • Integrated calibrated camera mount/camera for high resolution digital cameras
  • Range from 300-1000 meter depending on hard ware
  • Speed from 1000 Hz to 36 KHz depending on hard ware
  • Accuracy typical 5 cm
  • Diode based laser distance meter operating at 905 nm
  • First and last pule logic's with grayscale for all readings
  • USB output for external PC with viewer software
  • Max scanning speed 35Hz and optional 50-60 Hz
  • Max power consumption 60 W-90W at 12-24 VDC
  • Options INS gyros and DGPS input for synchronized data collection
