Sea Lynx Marine laser camera

This system is similar to Nord Lynx but have a smaller field of view and better and more exact controls for the system.
This system is optimized to see objects in the water and to be operated from a boat or the shore. The water absorbs the laser light so water appears very dark while objects in the water are very white. This gives a very good contrast. Small objects can be detected at long range up to 1000 meter. Objects with reflex tape on surface can be viewed at 1500 meter. This is tested on life jackets from boats at sea. This makes this the perfect system for detecting people at long range in the water at boat accidents. This system can be delivered with a pan and tilt unit. Optional stabilized gyro gimbals are also available. Sea Lynx can measure the distance to what you see. This is displayed on the setting wheel for distance settings and control. Then you can see how far away the objects you are looking at are located. In combination with DGPS you can plot this position on the navigation chart.
