Videos by active laser cameras
Most of these videos are done by the SeaLynx system. The system is tested in many different applications and here we show some of the video recordings done by the system. Gated cameras are very universal and can be operated in the most different areas. Marine, airborne, land based name it ? These videos tell much more than any data sheet about the systems and what they do.

Camera operated at 600 meters distance on a small lake. There is a canoe with two onboard which is viewed. At right side there is a car with head lights on. The distance zone is scanner from this side of the boat and to the shore about 25 meter behind the boat. The very dark water is noticed and the very bright contrast of the canoe. Video is not in full resolution and only in Video clip resolution 320x240 pixels which is far less the real image. 464 K size of video.

Same scene as the video above but with a much higher resolution. Here the canoe can be viewed in far better detail. In real application image is better than this video shows. Resolution about 600x800 pixels. Canoe turns 90 degree during this short video clip. 3,4 MB size of video.

Video showing settings changed from gated viewing with a high quality image . This change to a passive mode where the Gen 2 image intensifier works like an ordinary ICCD camera for marine surveillance. Here the canoe disappears like what out competitors system will do. From this it change to active mode where the laser is turned on in CW continuos mode. Here the particles and light fog reduce sight a lot. The car lamps are there all the time and have different influence. The car in the back ground moves during a part of the video . Size of video clip 1016 K.

Video with a distance scan from a small boat about 600 meter away and it over the shore and some trees. The trees are viewed in segments showing the capability to see through and see in selected areas. We can see like this to 1000 meter with SeaLynx and up to 10 000 meter with newest developments. Video is 236 K in size

Video through a small forest about 600-900 meter away. We scan through the trees from front and back and can clearly see the selected areas between the trees and what is hidden here. 300 KB size of video.

Car driving over some fields at 700 meter distance. Head lamps are on, Sky is not too dark so goggles and NiVis systems see very little compared to the SeaLynx gated laser camera. 708 K size of video

View over a small river starting at a dredging machine and over the river and up to about 800 meter. The dredging machine can be seen as a white image at begin and as a dark image over a white background at the end of the video Size of video 512 k

Penetration of vegetation at short range up to 150 meter. Here we can see deep in through trees etc. and what is there. This is something absolutely impossible with a traditional intensified camera system, 2,4 MB file
