Stones on the road and a part of a muddy forest road blocked by the stones. The wet surface appears darker than the dry surface. Stones are easily noticed and by the scale from the laser altimeter the size and weight can be analyzed.
Same place from the ground. The very similar view from ground and air is obvious and the muddy surface is also possible to see in a correct way from the air.
