Laser based active cameras for airborne application and aviation
Active laser cameras are based on an illumination laser and a very sensitive camera. In daytime this operates as a normal camera. In low levels the laser is activated and emits light in near ir area. camera do also change to monochrome high sensitivity operation. The result is a high quality video stream at zero light to very long ranges. We offer several models with ranges from 200-500 meter up to over 3000 meter.

Cameras are available in several versions with component solutions to pan and tilt stabilized units. The PTZ units can be stabilized. One version we have is video stabilized in a PTZ unit and have a realistic price level

Image quality is very good and far better than what thermal cameras offers. THis is a very attractive system for many applications in aviation. Search and rescue is very obvious as range here when people in water have life jackets is increased a lot.
