LDM800-232 is based on a hand held distance meter modified to give an RS 232 output at high speed. This makes the system price efficient and easy to operate. The output is a cable with serial connector ( 9 pin D-sub ). Single shot accuracy is about 1 meter at 130 Hz. This system is very useable for many applications as now there is a low priced long range distance meter available with computer output.
LDM systems can also have special software installed like laser barrier and perimeter software etc.
